If you can successfully record a Karaoke performance and the music is loud enough for you, then read no further. If the music is not loud enough when recording on the Macintosh, we recommend using the Internal speakers because the speakers need to be close enough to the built-in microphone so that the music can be recorded along with your singing. If you want to use external speakers, try moving them closer and pointing them toward the computer. There is also a feature on the Macintosh that reduces noise when you are recording. Unfortunately this eliminates the sound of the music so this feature needs to be turned off. To adjust these settings, open up the Sound Control Panel and select the Input tab to adjust the microphone and the Output tab to adjust the speakers.
